![]() ![]() They are "one-time-add" since one you add them to your game you wont have to do much, cc will work forever and always come as. CUSTOM CONTENT (CC): Custom content are just that, custom props or objetcs that DO NOT affect the way the game is played, they can be building objects and decorations or even sims clothes, accessories, building objects, etc, the points is, CC are stuff that never get involved in the way the game runs. ![]() Since they work with SCRIPS (codes) along your game, these SCRIPTS act as an extension of the game so they need to be updated to work at their fullest. For example Wicked Whims wich adds, well, you know what that mod does. ![]() They are focused on CHANGING or ADDING functions to the gameplay of the game, like new mechanics and such. I may mention some Script ones but those are EXTREMELY OPTIONAL if you want to add them to your game. One of them are SCRIPT MODS and the other are CUSTOM CONTENT (wich most of the time is cut as CC). To begin, Sims 4 mods are divided in 2 types. i'll put some of my artwork to prove my experience on this as well and hope i can help ya'all create a sim of your dreams. So you could say i've been playing cards long time by now. I also do character creating and artwork screenshot post. I must say that i do not see myself as an expert or pro in this topic, but as someone who's been modding and creating simple mods for sims for over a year i'd say and currently (at this very moment) has around 700 hours in gameplay. A lot stuff to work with, but for now we'll focus on Mods for Sims themselves. We need to start mentioning that the world of MODS in Sims 4 is really huge.
